Three wall drawings are cropped and framed on the Halsted Avenue facade of the John York & Co. Building. The drawings stitch together a collection of approximately seventeen brickwork patterns from the surrounding Pilsen neighborhood. Conceived as a 1:1 architectural installation, the works combine technique in drawing, projective geometry, and cunning vision. Look closely and explore the varying brick bond types, mortar joints, and misalignments that speak to the beauty of the existing context and its patchwork history.
